We’d like to tell you a little bit more about what we do and why we do it!

Friends of Highfields (Previously called the PTA) is currently made up of parents, family members and carers of children who attend the school.

 

We are likeminded people who simply want to contribute to the school and our children’s education and learning experiences. Friends of Highfields organise several regular events throughout the school year to raise funds to benefit ALL the children who attend the school, from Reception to Year 6.

 

We would not be able to run successful events without parents and friends volunteering, attending our events, donating raffle prizes or without the support from local businesses.

 

We have had another very busy and successful year organising events and continuing to raise funds for much needed (but non-budgetary) items for the school and learning experiences for the children.

 

Therefore, Friends of Highfields would like to express their thanks to everyone who supported and attended the events throughout the year.

 

We have been lucky that some of our members have been with us for many years, but we always welcome new members to come along so we can keep on growing and keep providing funding for much need projects! There are so many ways in which you can support Friends of Highfields and get involved in events, whatever your circumstances, interests or skills.
