Four Year 5 pupils, Josh, Molly, Ada and Harry, spent a morning at Manningtree library. Their visit was an opportunity for them to discover more about the 2019 Summer Reading Challenge and collect resources to use at school. The pupils then used what they had learnt to present a whole-school assembly launching the Summer Reading Challenge at Highfields
Pupils have been busy designing and building a mechanism to winch a boat up a ramp. The challenge was linked to our Norfolk residential visit, where children visited the RNLI station at Cromer.
Year 5 designed and made maths games to help children in the Foundation Stage develop their number skills. They then had fun playing them.
