Year 3/4 Mr Page

Year 3 had great fun flying their kites! Well done!

Year 3 had a fantastic time celebrating world book day. I was really impressed by their costumes and their enthusiasm in sharing their favourite stories. Well done!

After reading the Butterfly Lion, year three wrote instructions on how to capture a wild animal. Here they are acting their instructions out!

Welcome to year 3!

Year 3 have really enjoyed our stone age topic. Reading Stone Age boy, creating our own stone age village and creating our stone age homes inspired their fantastic stone age adventure stories. Well done year 3!

Maths

The children have focused on learning their 3 and 4 multiplication tables. They have focused on using patterns to help remember  their tables and really enjoyed our paper chain number challenge.

Science

The children have been busy focusing on rocks, using actions they can remember the three main types; Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic. The classroom has been buzzing with discussions and questions. They worked together to form the rock cycle and have compared and identified man made and natural rocks!
