Year 3/4 Mr Page

Welcome to Elm Class

We have a great year planned for you all and we are looking forward to many exciting learning opportunities.

Throughout the year, we will be studying various topics including ‘Anglo Saxons' and 'The Battle of Britain' where we plan to use trips and engaging activities to enrich the learning environment.

Please find below the class booklet for parents of children in Mr Page's class.

We hope you will visit the class page regularly and take a look through the gallery that we will compile to keep you informed of the exciting learning opportunities.

I look forward to meeting parents at Open Door events as well as pupil progress meetings. If there is anything you wish to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to make an appointment with the school office.

Thank you,

Mr Page and Mrs Meakings

Visit To The Imperial War Museum, Duxford

Dear Parents/Carers

Our class topic for this Term is 'Battle of Britain'. To enhance our work on this topic, we have organised a visit to the Imperial War Museum in Duxford on Tuesday 13th March 2018.

We will be travelling by coach and will leave school at 8:30 a.m. We will be returning back to school by 4.00 p.m, traffic permitting.

Children need to wear school uniform for this trip and sensible walking shoes.  A waterproof coat will also be required.  All children will need to bring a packed lunch on this day – no fizzy drinks or glass bottles please.  For children with a free school meal entitlement, a packed lunch, if requested, will be provided.

A small amount of spending money (£5) is allowed, but keep in a named envelope.

If your child suffers from travel sickness, please make sure the correct medicine is taken before school and enough for the return journey is handed to your child’s teacher, in a named envelope.

Thank you,
